HOW DOES A HOME SCHOOLER GET INTO COLLEGE?

Cost: $35 (early registration discount $25 if prepaid two weeks before scheduled seminar)

Dates: Saturday, September 13

Time: 1:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Where: Southwestern College, 2625 E. Cactus Road, Phoenix AZ 85032 (located ½ mile west of SR-51 on Cactus Road)

HIGH SCHOOL SUPPORT GROUP

A support group designed to assist parents in guiding their teens through the challenges of personal discipleship, high school academics, career selection, and college or apprenticeship choices. Fellowship, share ideas and resources, brainstorm, and learn together how to guide your student through high school and into college.

When: Every other month on the last Tuesday of the month

Time: 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Cost: Free

Meetings are held in the Student Activities Center building on the second floor in the Executive Conference Room

Format: Topical discussion, open Q & A, Networking & Fellowship

Dates for 2008:

May 27: Transcript/Grading, etc.

July 29, College Planning & Organization Made Easy

September 30: Paying for College

November: No meeting
